Ukraine’s government attraction of €450 credit for development of Trans-European Transport Network

Ukraine has officially become the part of European TEN-T transport network

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the attraction of €459 million credit for development of Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T) as MP from European Solidarity Oleksiy Hocnharenko reported on Telegram.

It is reported that the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T) project provides the creation of the new transport system in the EU territory until 2030. It will connect 94 sea and river ports, 38 international airports and about 15.000 km of high-speed railways.

Earlier it was reported that Ukraine has officially become the part of European TEN-T transport network.

The decision on the spread of TEN-T to the countries neighboring to EU, including Ukraine, was made on June 21, 2016 in Rotterdam by transport ministers of EU states, Eastern Partnership and European Commission.

As we reported the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) will allocate 300 million euro for the development of Ukrainian regional roads

It is also noted that EBRD's investments in Ukraine during the current year comes to 1 billion euros, which is a record figure over the last 5 years. Zelensky thanked the EBRD for its cooperation and steps aimed at the developing of the Ukrainian economy.
