The Gross domestic product (GDP) of Ukraine grew by 5.1% in January this year, according to the data published by the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine today.

It is noted that the index of goods and services production in January 2017 grew by 7% compared to January 2016. GDP has grown by 5.1% in January while the index of January 2016 was estimated at -1.6%.

The report says that among other things increased consumer demand influenced the situation on the background of minimal wage growth.
