The foreign-exchange reserves of Ukraine as of the end of September 2017 constitute $18.637 billion, according to the data provided by the National Bank of Ukraine.
Compared to the end of August, the reserves grew by $602 million.
The National bank also informs that $14.8 billion of the total sum is in foreign currency, over $1 billion is in gold, and the remaining sum is allocated for the Stand-by Position with the IMF.
Previously the NBU forecasted that Ukraine’s foreign-exchange reserves would grow to $27 billion until the end of 2018, with it being $20 billion at the end of 2017.
