Ukraine’s capital recognized among Top-3 “Major European Cities of the Future”

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko has received the award of the Foreign Direct Investment Magazine in its Major European Cities of the Future 2018/2019 ranking, UNIAN reports. Speaking at the MIPIM international property market event, Vitali Klitschko was thankful for recognizing the capital’s efforts and opportunities, the mayor’s press service has reported.

“What is most important is the fact that our city is developing further, it is becoming increasingly more comfortable and modern, meeting all the criteria of a European capital city,” Klitschko stressed. “And its recognition by international experts as an attractive investment destination confirms that we are headed in the right direction. Besides, it sends a positive message to foreign investors about our upcoming investment projects,” the mayor said.

At MIPIM, Vitali Klitschko is going to present a portfolio of investment opportunities to international corporations. This year, MIPIM is going to bring together more than 24,000 attendees including the most reputable developers and key international business players. Foreign Direct Investment Magazine is a publication on foreign direct investment, it is a subsidiary of the Financial Times.

Earlier, it was reported that Kyiv mayor would hold meetings with Eduardo Lopez Moreno (the Director of Research and Capacity Development at UN-HABITAT), Gunther Adler (State Secretary for the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety), Jacek Jaskowiak (Mayor of Poland’s Poznan) and other key international businesses.
