Thus, enterprises that provide energy independence and defense capability of the state, which are natural monopolies or those that are critically important to society, are not subject to privatization.
"We will strengthen the control over the proper use of assets and effective management of strategic state-owned enterprises that are not subject to privatization," Goncharuk wrote.
These include Naftogaz-Ukraine, Ukrtransnafta, Ukrnafta, Mayak factory, Ukrposhta, Ukrzaliznytsia, Ukrenergo, Energoatom, Ukroboronprom, and others.
As we reported earlier, the Cabinet of Ministers transferred 530 state-owned enterprises, the total cost of which amounts to more than 512 million dollars, for privatization. The Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Honcharuk has informed about it on his Twitter page.
Auctions are scheduled to begin in 2020.
"In almost 4 months, more state-owned objects have been transferred for privatization than in all 28 years of independence," Ukraine’s PM wrote.
