The Cabinet of Ministers allocated 107.500 dollars for the maintenance of evacuees from China, who are being monitored at the medical center in Novi Sanzhary. This was stated by the press secretary of Prime Minister Diana Davitian, Ukranews.com reports.
"Allocation of 107.500 dollars was approved by a decree of February 17. It is for the maintenance of people," she wrote.
It is worth noting that Molecular-genetic studies did not detect COVID-19 coronavirus infection among the evacuated people from the Chinese city of Wuhan.
As we reported earlier, according to Ukraine's Healthcare Minister Zoryana Scaletska, that there is no reason to extend the observation period at the Novi Sanzhary sanatorium by more than 14 days.
"In the decision regarding the evacuation, we noted that the people agree that they are placed in isolation for a minimum of 14 days in order to always be able to continue for a longer period if there is such a need. Currently, there is no such need," the Minister of Health added.
Skaletska stated that the Ukrainian authorities were guided exclusively by the recommendations of the World Health Organization. And it would only review its provisions if WHO changed its approaches to isolation periods.
