Ukraine intends to increase exports to Canada tenfold during these 5 years. This was reported by the Deputy Minister - Trade Representative of the Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Nataliya Mykolska at the round table meeting on the topic “Free Trade Agreement with Canada: new horizons for Ukraine”.
“If we analyze our export to Canada, as of now we can see a positive tendency. For 11 months of 2016 we have exported for 26,2 million dollars which is a far cry from our real potential,” Mykolska said.
“If we are able to cancel custom fees, we have a great desire to reach an amount tenfold bigger than we have today during the next five years, ” she added.
Earlier it was reported that Canada starts implementing free trade area with Ukraine, according to Freeland. The country’s government submitted respective bill at the federal parliament.
