Ukraine's Finance Ministry started preparations for issuing the Eurobonds - first time this year. The press office of the Ministry reported that on January 22.
"Ukraine claimed issuance of obligations of the foreign state loans with the ten years of turnover, denominated in Euros", the statement says.
The Ministry also decided to involve BNP Paribas, JP Morgan and Raiffeisen Bank International as joint lead managers for the organization of the global conference call to investors; it is slated for January 22.
Last year, Ukraine's state-run financial entity issued the Eurobonds twice, in March and June. The first round witnessed the additional placement of obligations for USD 350 million, and during the second one, Ukraine released six-years-long Eurobonds, thanks to which it managed to involve 1 billion Euros. Last September, the government covered the debt under the previously issued obligations. The overall sum made 1.1 billion dollars. The debt body amounted to $ 661.34 million, and interest was $ 444.36 million.
