The new Ukrainian government will carry on in terms of cooperation with the International Monetary Fund. Oleksandr Danylyuk, the new Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council said this as quoted by 112 Ukraine TV channel.
All actual issues of cooperation were discussed during Tuesday meeting, as Zelensky team met with the IMF mission members in Kyiv.
'We presented our agenda, our vision of the country's development and that of our cooperation. These positions completely match, because the first steps were aimed at fighting corruption, the re-boot of the judicial system, re-shaping the legal system. Previously, the IMF was obtruding all these things upon Ukraine, but there was no will to do that. One can feel that the new power is ready to implement changes that matter to all Ukrainians now, so that there would be no corruption, so that the economy would develop successfully', the Secretary said.
He also denied the information about IMF mission leaving Ukraine due to the Parliament's dissolution.
'There's an understanding it was an internal decision, and it was aimed at speeding up political processes in Ukraine', he said.
