Ukraine will start preparing to getting a new EFF cooperation program with the IMF next summer. Vladyslav Rashkovan, Ukraine's representative in the IMF posted that on his Facebook page.
"... and then, when the economy restores, the accent of IFM support could shift back to solving problems of long-term structure reforms in Ukraine so as to help a stronger and more inclusive growth", he said, quoting Jerry Rice, the IMF representative.
Earlier, we reported that the sides agreed to sign a new agreement on the stand-by program; this short-term program is supposed to be running for 18 months.
"And then, during this period (until summer 2021, - 112 International), Ukraine will not only get over 10 billion dollars of assistance from international financial organizations but also will get back to discussing an even larger sum of new funding from the IMF... provided Ukraine still needs these costs, of course", Rashkovan said.
