‘According to the research of the different authoritative organizations, we are at the second-third place on the gas reservoirs in the world’, he noted.
According to Groysman, Ukraine recedes only the small share of it in the presence of such reservoirs.
‘We recede in 3-4 times less than other countries where the correspondence of the reservoirs and output is quite effective’, he emphasized.
According to the Prime Minister, the issue of the energy independence is one of the most important priorities of the country. He added that the achievement of this goal depends on the actions of the mayors that should do everything to increase the energy efficiency in their cities and attract the investments in this sphere.
‘We are the country that can get the energy independence by the output of all necessary quantity of the gas for the inner market and export by the implementation of the innovative process solutions’, he is assured.
Earlier it was reported that Ukraine was included in TOP-20 gas hubs of Europe for the first time and occupied the 18th place according to the rating of the European Federation of Energy Traders.
