All reforms held by Ukraine are important but the most important of them for the future of the country is the reform of the energy sector. Deputy Director of USAID Mission in Ukraine, Belarus and Moldova John A. Pennell claimed this to the internet portal Energoreforma.

'One of the main points that should be remembered is that Ukraine was dependent from the import of the energy resources. At the moment the situation improved. But Ukraine should continue the reform of the energy sector to become completely energy-independent', Pennell explained.
