NABU, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine put Oleksandr Dubilet on the wanted list. The Privatbank's ex-chair of board of directors is a suspect in the embezzlement case.

Maksym Hryshchuk, the acting head of Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office said so to Ukrinform news agency.

Dubilet is suspected of embezzlement of USD 285 million that belonged to the bank prior to its nationalization in late 2016.

On February 22, 2021, a civilian plane performed an urgent landing in Boryspil international airport. The passenger who took that private plane was Dubilet, the former deputy head of board of directors of Privatbank. Prosecutor General approved the notice of suspicion against him.

The official planned to leave Ukraine on a private aircraft, heading for Vienna. A leader of investigation team and NABU director turned to the State Aviation Service of Ukraine, and the aircraft landed at Boryspil airport.
