Ukraine pays out 1.1 billion dollars on Eurobonds, - National Bank

The debt body amounted to $ 661.34 million, and interest was $ 444.36 million

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) confirms that Ukraine has redeemed Eurobonds in the amount of $ 661 million, issued in November 2015 as part of the restructuring process, as well as accrued interest in the amount of $ 444 million, UNN reports.

"On September 3, payments were made on bonds of an external state loan, issued in November 2015 as part of the restructuring program. The money paid amounted to 1,105 million USD," the NBU said.

It is noted that of these funds, the body of the debt amounted to 661,34 million USD, and interest - to 444,36 million USD.
 
 
Earlier, Ukraine made the last payment of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) under a stand-by program in amount of 156,4 million USD after having paid over 150 million USD to the IMF. Ukrainian News agency reported this with reference to the press service the National Bank of Ukraine.

“Ukraine made the last payment under the stand-by program with the International Monetary Fund launched in 2014. The last payment amounted to 156.4 million dollars,” the statement reads.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Honcharuk said that Ukraine would negotiate with the IMF about launching a new 3-4-year cooperation program.
