Ukraine has good chances to get the next tranche from the IMF in 2017. The NBU Chief of operations management in the open market and government securities Oleg Churiy stated this during the briefing.

"Our international allies very positively received the news about the situation that occurred yesterday. However, except the nationalization of the bank, the adoption of the state budget is another condition for the financing of the IMF. Therefore, we believe that there is quite a good chance to get the fourth tranche of the IMF after the budget is adopted in Ukraine. Of course, it will happen in the next year", he said.

Note, previously Head of the NBU Valeriya Gontareva said she expects to receive the next tranche of the IMF for Ukraine in January-February 2017.
