Ukraine is one of the top three countries that supply agricultural products to the European Union. This was stated by the Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade Nataliya Mykolska, reports the press service of the Ministry.
"Our agricultural complex is an engine of trade with the European Union and Ukraine entered to the top 3 countries that feed, we can call it that, and supplies products of agro-industrial complex to the EU," Nataliya Mykolska said.
She also noted that light industry was also reoriented for the European market and it’s 80% of exports that now goes to the EU.
"Goods that were previously exported only to Russia and CIS countries now start to enter the European Union market . Such examples include, in particular, railway equipment," she added.
