Ukraine has to repay 16,4 billion dollars of debt during 2020. The external debt amounts to 6,9 billion dollars and internal – to 9,5 billion dollars. This data was published by the Ministry of Finance.
The debt is divided into four parts, with the smallest payment coming in the fourth quarter and the biggest – in the third.
Thus, in the first quarter Ukraine will have to pay 4,4 billion dollars, 1,3 billion of which are set for external debt and 2,1 billion – for domestic debt.
In the second quarter, the payments were fixed at 4,1 billion dollars, where external debt amounts to 1,6 billion and internal – to 2,5 billion.
The third quarter is the peak one. From July to September, Ukraine has to pay 6,3 billion dollars. 3,5 billion of them are set for external debt and 2,8 billion – for domestic.
The smallest amount is scheduled for the fourth quarter – 1,5 billion dollars. Thus, in the last three months of the year, Ukraine will have to pay back 398 million dollars of external debt and 1,102 billion - of domestic debt.
As we reported earlier, Ukraine has announced the pricing of new Eurobonds worth 1,25 billion euros, which are denominated in Euro, with a maturity date of January 27, 2030. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Finance.
"We are pleased to announce that today Ukraine has issued Eurobonds with a maturity of 10 years at the lowest coupon in the country's history at a rate of 4.375%. Having collected applications from more than 350 investors from around the world, we have placed the second point of the yield curve in the euro," Minister of Finance Oksana Markarova said.
