Ukraine has not used more than 7 billion dollars of investment resources for social and environmental projects from the World Bank, the EBRD and other international investors. Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economy Oleksiy Lyubchenko stated this during the">Ukraine-30 All-Ukrainian Forum.
"We have not used more than $7 billion in investment resources for social and environmental projects from the World Bank and the EBRD as of May 1. And this is in a country where they say there is no investment," Lyubchenko said.
It should be noted that in 2020 the economy of Ukraine attracted over $15,5 billion in capital investments, which is 28,2% less than in 2019.
As it was reported earlier, Jean-Erik de Zagon, head of the European Investment Bank in Ukraine, called the food and IT industries the most attractive for investment in Ukraine.
