Ukraine may start its own gas exports to Europe. This was reported by the press service of Ukrtransgaz JSC.
Ukrainian underground gas storage facilities have enough reserves for the heating season and exports.
"We do not rule out that Ukraine will start its own gas exports to EU countries in case of a favorable situation on the European market. Domestic underground storage facilities today have enough reserves not only to provide heat to Ukrainian citizens but also to receive additional income from gas sales abroad," reads the message.
As we reported earlier, Polish PGNiG Company will hold the first supplies of natural gas for the Gas Transmission System Operator of Ukraine.
According to the terms of tended, the gas will be supplied from October 1, 2020, until May 1, 2021. The fuel will be used for the technical needs of the Ukrainian Gas Transmission System Operator. It will be the first supplies of natural gas by PGNiG Company.
