The Genevese Office on enforced recovery of debts initiated the arrest of the 15 million of euro that Ukraine allocated as the guarantee of holding of the Eurovision-2017 on June 22.

Later, the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and the rights holder of the Eurovision song contest fined Ukraine for the refusal to let the Russian singer Julia Samoylova to enter the Ukrainian territory for 200,000 Euro.

The UA: PBC found the EBU sanctions to be groundless and announced the appeal against the EBU decision.
