The Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman noted the importance of the deepening of the cooperation between Ukraine and Lithuania at the meeting with the Speaker of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania Viktoras Pranckietis.

‘It is extremely important to deepen our relations at the parliamentarian and governmental levels. I would like to emphasize that we have good relations with my colleague the Prime Minister of Lithuania and it is the basis of the deepening of our cooperation in many spheres from the political cooperation, cooperation at the international stage, cooperation within the EU to the economic sphere. It is necessary to note that the bilateral level of trade is high enough and we would like to issue the challenge to have one billion of dollars of the annual business between our countries and it is absolutely possible’, Groysman noted.

Earlier Ukrainian Prime Minister reported at the meeting with the Lithuanian Prime Minister Saulius Skvernelis that Ukraine and Lithuania have the turnover in the sum of 750 million of dollars in 2016.
