The President of the USA Donald Trump claimed about the plans to export coal from the US to Ukraine at his speech at the United States Department of Energy as Reuters reported.
'Ukraine told us that it needs millions and millions of coal', Trump said.
The United States Secretary of Energy Rick Perry noted that the US can have more friends when it will be able to supply the energy resources to the countries that are the hostages of Russia.
According to Perry, the decision of Trump to remove the US from the Paris Agreement can harm the relations of the US with other countries but the export of the energy resources can conduce the strengthening of the bonds with allies.
'We are here today to give free rein for the new American energy policy. We will export American energy to the whole world', Trump claimed.
The US president plans to promote the American export of the natural compressed gas in Warsaw at the meeting of the leaders of the Central and Eastern Europe who depend on the Russian energy supplies .
Later, Trump will hold the meeting with the President of Russia Vladimir Putin on the margins of G20.
Ukraine plans to purchase at least two million of tons of coal from the US. The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko claimed this at the interview on June 25.
