The total state debt of Ukraine in July increased by 2.5%, or by 2,04 billion dollars to 82,4 billion dollars compared with the previous month. This was reported on the Ministry of Finance website.

The state and state-guaranteed debt at the end of July 2019 amounted to 2 066,92 billion hryvnias, or 82,4 billion dollars against 2 102,41 billion hryvnias, or 80,35 billion dollars a month earlier.

The total amount of direct government debt as of July 31 amounted to 1 811,7 billion hryvnias (72,22 billion dollars) versus 1 832,3 billion hryvnias (70,02 billion dollars) a month earlier.

According to the Ministry of Finance, on the Unified Treasury Account Ukraine has enough accumulated funds for peak payments on public debt in September.

As previously reported, the total public debt of Ukraine in April increased by 1.3% - up to $ 79,8 billion. Government and state guaranteed debt at the end of April 2019 amounted to 2 124,80 billion UAH.
 
 
Earlier Ukraine has attracted a loan in the amount of 529 million euros from Deutsche Bank with the guarantee of the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (World Bank Group). This is reported by the press service of the Ministry of Finance.

Thus, Deutsche Bank provided a loan in two tranches: a tranche A in the amount of 240 million euros with a maturity of 4 years and a tranche B in the amount of 289 million euros with a maturity of 10 years.

For this loan, the second part of the guarantee for a total amount of $ 750 million was used.
