"We are now considering the possibility of attracting additional financing (Road Fund of Ukraine, - Ed.) next year. We are considering the possibility of lending from our European partners, the World Bank. We are looking at what other reserves are left," Kubakov said.
It is worth mentioning that the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) will allocate 300 million euros for the development of Ukrainian regional roads.
As we reported earlier, Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Honcharuk plans to conclude the agreement with the World Bank and the EBRD on $300 million investment in Ukraine in November as Pravo na Vladu informed.
He urged the Ukrainians to believe in the prospects of the rapid economic growth, noting that “everything begins with the dream”. In this context, Honcharuk put emphasis on the necessity to fight the corruption and return the trust of the investors in Ukraine.
