Solomenskyi court arrests ex-deputy chairman of Ukrhazvydobuvannia

He will have to pay a pledge in the amount of UAH 50 million

Solomensky District Court of Kyiv chose measure of restraint for the former first Deputy Chairman of the Ukrhazvydobuvannia Olexander Somov. He was arrested for 2 months with the right to bail in the amount of 50 million UAH.

Correspondent Oleh Stepovyi reported about this in the air of 112 Ukraine TV Channel.

Also, Solomenskyi district court has arrested Ukrhazvydobuvannia CEO Vadym Shlenchak. He can provide a pledge of 5 million UAH.

Thus, the judge completely satisfied the demands of the representatives of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office, who asked for such a preventive measure.

Shalenchak and Somov are both suspects in the so-called Onishchenko case. They are accused of embezzlement of property of an Ukrhazvydobuvannia and selling gas at low prices.
