Kramatorsk, the city in eastern Ukraine can get a grant from Slovenia to improve the quality of the drinking water and water service company with the assistance of the Slovenian company Esotec as UNIAN reported.
Kramatorsk competed for the participation in the project of the World Bank that aims to improve the quality of the drinking water, a decrease of losses and energy efficiency at the water sector. According to the results of the tender and taking into accounts all tasks, the World Bank announced the Slovenian company Esotech a winner.
Grant is an encouraging motivation for the export of the services of the Slovenian high technologies. Also, this grant is a guarantee of the exchange risks that Kramatorsk can face during the implementation of the project for the credit funds of the World Bank on the modernization of the water infrastructure that will decrease the expenses of the civilians for the supply of the drinking water.
The aim of the project is the reconstruction of the water purification plants, implementation of new technologies on the purification of the drinking water. The grant can cover all possible exchange risks and the proper appeal was sent to Esotech with a request to fulfill the commitments on the sign of the agreement and implementation of the project.
Moreover, this grant removes all reasons for the block of the project and the explanatory information on it was sent to officials of the Ukrainian government, Ministry of Regional Development, Representative of the World Bank to Ukraine, Mayor of Kramatorsk, and Director of Water Service Company in Kramatorsk.
The signing of the agreement with Esotech at Agency for International Development and Cooperation of Slovenia was confirmed during the visit of Ales Cantarutti, State Secretary of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Slovenia and Hennady Zubko, the Deputy Prime Minister for Regional Development, Construction and Housing on November 24, 2017.
