The government expects that by 2022 the average salary in the country would be at the level of $600. Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmygal stated this on his Facebook page.

"In June, the average real wages exceeded the pre-crisis level and amounted to $450. The economy began to recover, and people are returning to work. We expect that by 2022 the average salaries in the country will be at the level of $600,” the head of government stated.

As we reported before, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine would not consider the introduction of severe restrictive measures in the event of a second wave of coronavirus spread but will rely on adaptive quarantine and localization of disease outbreaks.

He noted that the Government was working on a systematic resumption of economic activity. In particular, on the development of a long-term development strategy of Ukraine until 2030, as well as on the implementation of the Economic Stimulus Program and the Government Action Plan, which contain incentives for various sectors of the Ukrainian economy.
