The National Securities and Stock Market Commission of Ukraine (NSSMC) has admitted shares of six companies to turnover in Ukraine - Facebook Inc., Tesla Inc., Netflix Inc., Microsoft Corporation, Visa Inc, and Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. The decision was made on Tuesday, December 8, according to the commission's website.
The decision on admission is made by the Commission upon application of a foreign issuer of securities or the Central Securities Depository for all securities of the issuer.
Securities of a foreign issuer are allowed to be traded on the territory of Ukraine on stock exchanges and over-the-counter markets.
As we reported earlier, Prime Minister Denys Shmygal stated that Sweden and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) would provide Ukraine with 4,6 mln dollars (128 million hryvnias) to support electronic and inclusive services for vulnerable groups.
The support program will help bridge the digital divide between generations and groups of Ukrainians who belong to different social strata.
