The 10th International Forum and Trade Show of Central and Eastern Europe SEF 2018 KYIV kicks off today, on October 16, in Kyiv.

10th Sustainable Energy Forum of Central and Eastern Europe is the premier business event and a platform for doing business with the emerging markets of Europe. It takes place in Kyiv and it is the largest event devoted to renewable energy, energy efficiency and new energy tech in Ukraine and in the whole region. It is the only industrial event in Ukraine, which is in the marketing and business development plans of the leading international market players of the sustainable energy industry. 

Over 500 delegates - CEO, owners, top-managers shall discuss global transformations of energy sector and their influence on Ukraine, distributed generation, energy storage, artificial intellect and blockchain technology as new components of energy market, participation of financial institutions in the development of Renewable energy in Ukraine.

By 2030, local decentralized energy systems will be created in each region of Ukraine, the stability of it will be secured by high-power storage devices (energy storages) and virtual regulators based on blockchain technology. At 50-90% of the electricity generation will be provided by renewable sources, mainly solar and wind power plants. The rest of the electricity will be generated by large hydroelectric power plants, thermal and nuclear power plants, whose capacity will significantly decrease over 12 years.
