The company received 397 million euros of net profit during three months (April - June). The annual profit of the airline, according to analysts, is 1.488 billion euros. According to preliminary information, this is due to the fact that this year Easter was celebrated much later than last year and tariffs were raised by 1% in per year terms.
“It’s a competitive market, tariffs may drop by 7, 8, maybe even 9 percent," said Ryanair Chief Financial Officer Neil Sorahan.
According to him, in per year terms, tariff cuts are likely to become average 8 percent for six months ending on March 31, 2018.
Ryanair is the largest low-cost airline in Europe.
As it was reported earlier Lviv airport signed contract with Ryanair. The range of the company’s requirements was omitted. This is about the requirements on profit, land for the hotel and so on.
