“All specialists of this market understand that Gazprom does not specifically supply additional volumes of gas to the European market. Everyone understands that this gas exists, everyone understands that Gazprom deliberately delays the supply of this gas, blackmailing Europe so that Nord Stream 2 is certified contrary to the requirements of European legislation,” Vitrenko said.
Moreover, according to Vitrenko, the Kremlin wants to force Europe to conclude long-term contracts with Russia, in particular with Gazprom.
Besides, Vitrenko stated that Naftogaz of Ukraine has submitted an application for participation in the certification of Nord Stream 2 operator.
As we reported, the first string of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline is filled with technical gas and is ready for operation.
