The reelection of Miloš Zeman as the president of the Czech Republic doesn’t change anything in the relations of Kyiv and Prague, as Ambassador of Ukraine in the Czech Republic Even Perebyinis told Ukrinform.
“In case of such a result of the election, I don’t think we should expect some changes in the relations between Ukraine and the Czech Republic, a change of Czechia’s position towards Ukraine,” the diplomat said and reminded that Zeman has been the president over the past 5 years.
He also noted that it’s the government that determines Czech foreign policy, and the relations between the countries will depend on their priorities.
As we reported earlier, Zeman won in the presidential election.
