PrivatBank in Israel filed a new $600 million lawsuit against its former owner Ihor Kolomoysky, bank's press service reports.

"The bank initiated a new lawsuit in Tel Aviv District Court in Israel against former bank owners and other defendants yesterday. The claim amounts to 600 million dollars," the statement reads.

It is reported that the bank is continuing its preparation for the hearing, which is set to begin on January 10, 2020, of its claim against former owners and other defendants for more than three billion dollars. (plus interest) in the High Court of England and Wales.

"Bank’s board of directors and Independent Supervisory Board are convinced that they should make every effort to ensure the compensation for bank’s losses, which incurred because of its former owners," the bank said.

As we reported earlier, Ukraine's Ministry of Finance transferred JSC CB "PrivatBank" into the ownership of the Cabinet of Ministers. This is evidenced by information posted on the National Bank's website.

At present, 100% of PrivatBank's shares are owned by the state, which is represented by the Cabinet of Ministers, while at the beginning of the year ownership was vested in the Ministry of Finance.
