The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko signed the Decree of Ukraine #2058-VII on Making amendments to some laws of Ukraine on the removal of the barriers for the attraction of the foreign investments. The press service of the Ukrainian President reported this.
According to the report, this document provides the changes to the Administrative Offences Code of Ukraine and laws of Ukraine on Legal nature of the foreigners and stateless persons, on Employment of population, on Unified State Demographic Register and documents that confirm the citizenship of Ukraine, certifies the identity or the special status. All of them improve the order of the issuance of the residence permit in Ukraine and granting permission for labor service of the foreigners and stateless persons.
‘The implementing of the norms of law will lead to the positive results in the creation of the attractive investment environment for the foreigner investors due to the simplifying of the rules of the employment of the foreign workers, granting permission for the issuance of the residence permit in Ukraine to the foreign investors who own the part of the enterprise but do not work there to control the activity of the enterprises’, the message said.
The decree will come into force in 3 months after the publishment.
The Decree of Ukraine #2058-VII on Making amendments to some laws of Ukraine on the removal of the barriers for the attraction of the foreign investments was passed by the Verkhovna Rada on May 23, 2017.
