President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko signed the law on the state budget for 2018, according to the website of the President.
The profits of the state budget for 2018 are set at $32.65 billion, while the expenses - $35.28 billion. The living wage is to grow by 9%, while the minimal salary is to grow by 16.3%.
$2.1 billion is allocated for the social aid to the families with children, low income families, and people with disabilities.
$2.5 billion is allocated for benefits and living subsidies for paying the housing and utility taxes.
The education subvention is set at $2.2 billion, the medical subvention - $2 billion. $1.7 billion is to be spent on renovating roads, while the local budgets will receive support of $460 million from the State Fund of the regional development, subventions for social and economic development of certain territories, and subventions for the infrastructure pf the united territorial communities.
The Ukrainian Parliament ratified the law on Dec. 8, 2017 by 273 votes. The speaker of the Parliament signed it and sent for the President’s signature on Dec.22.
