Poland is ready to help Ukraine with electricity supply in case of a threat of disconnection due to the trade blockade of Donbas. This is reported by the Polish newspaper Rzeczpospolita, citing the Polskie Sieci Elektroenergetyczne.
In addition, the Polish Ministry of Energy informed the publication that he sees no obstacles for electricity supplies to Ukraine. Earlier, in 2015, Poland itself has imported energy in short supply, and now Poland supplies small amounts of energy from Ukraine on a local connection "Zamosc-Dobrotvor".
"Energy supply in the opposite direction has not been practiced until that time, however, if the technical conditions permit, the Ministry sees no obstacles to it", said the Energy Ministry.
