Pension payments fully funded for July, - Finance Ministry

Finance Ministry has fully funded pension payments for July, as the press office of the service reported on Facebook.

“The Finance Ministry informs that the expenses of the state budget sent to Pension Fund for pension payments have been fully funded,” the message says.

It is specified that on July 12, 2018, the Pension Fund received the last payment in the amount of around $85 million.

The representatives of the Finance Ministry noted that the Pension Fund receives loans from a unified treasury account to cover the temporary cash shortages when pensions are paid. On July 23, 2018, the Pension Fund received a sum in the amount of $57,6 million.

Speaking of the pension payments schedule, they recommended appealing to the Pension Fund.

Earlier, the delay in pension payments began more than two weeks ago. The representatives of Ukrposhta informed about a regular operation and added that the delays were connected with the temporary technical problems in Ukraine’s Pension Fund.

As the representatives of the Pension Fund explained, the delay in payments occurred due to the cash shortage of social due fee input.
