The Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine's Parliament, is to look into the draft state budget for 2021 in the second reading. Yaroslav Zheleznyak, the MP from the Holos party and First Deputy Head of the Parliamentary Committee for Finances said so on his Telegram channel.

"In a week, next Tuesday (December 15), we'll have quite a day in the Rada, with the huge turnout (of MPs, - 112 International). In the agenda, we expect such things: passing the next year's budget (No.4000), an extension of the special law on Donbas (No.4467), and the law on continuing the restoration of anti-corruption infrastructure after the decision of the Constitutional Court (No.4470)", Zheleznyak said.

On September 14, the Cabinet of Ministers approved and sent the 2021 draft state budget for the Parliament's consideration. The MPs failed to pass it on time (before December 1) because a lot of them got sick with Covid-19. The budget committee considered the bill on November 2, and the Parliament passed it as the basis on November 5. The second edition of the bill reached the Parliament on November 27.
