President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky claimed that the Parliament would soon consider a bill that foresees one-time financial aid for the entrepreneurs who had to shut down their businesses because of the quarantine. Zelensky said so at a briefing broadcasted by 112 Ukraine TV channel.
"If you are an entrepreneur and you had to close your coffee shop, for instance - or if you are a hired worker and they fire you because the coffee shop is closing, unfortunately, you will be able to get the assistance in the amount of 8,000 hryvnyas (USD 285, - 112 International)", he said.
In order to get financial aid, one has to provide the necessary data and the number of the credit card via the Diya applet. Then, the specialists will run the data check, and the money will be transferred to the card within several days, Zelensky explained.
More than 1 million Ukrainian citizens will be able to get this one-time assistance. The overall volume of aid will make almost 10 billion hryvnyas (USD 357 million).
