The Verkhovna Rada, the Ukrainian Parliament has passed the draft state budget for 2019 as a basis and on the whole. Thus, the MPs approved the conclusions and recommendations developed by the Cabinet for the next year's main financial document.
The Cabinet is now recommended to prepare the document for the second reading, which should take place within the two-weeks-long period.
Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman called the budget 'well-balanced, realistic and the one that should provide the development of our state'.
The annual incomes are expected to make USD 357 billion; the expenses are to make just about the same sum; the minimum wage and the poverty line will be increased. The government expects the minimum monthly wage to be set on the level of USD 149.
