Parliament approves changes to Budget Code of Ukraine

The Ukrainian Parliament upheld the draft law about the changes to the Budget Code of Ukraine (bill #9084). 243 MPs voted for this document, with 226 necessary to pass.

Some changes were added directly during the debates about the legal initiative. 

The Radical Party demanded that until 2023, part of the net profit which is due to fill the state budget should stay at the disposal of enterprises of the National Academy of Sciences. The money is expected to cover various needs, such as R&D departments activities, expansion of the material and technical foundation, etc.

Yuriy Solovey, the member of Petro Poroshenko's Bloc offered that local authorities enjoy the right to get the incomes from deforestation activities; if the wood is chopped on the premises of a rural area, the rural council gets 37 percent of the rent price of the forest area use. 

MP Iryna Sysoienko (Samopomich) insisted on the changes to the Budget Code of Ukraine, which impose the increased funding of medicine. Her political force offered that the government assigned five percent from the GDP to fund the medical services for citizens.
