Interbank currency trading process in Ukraine is over for today; on June 4, the U.S. dollar exchange rate made 26.66-26.68 Ukrainian hryvnyas. Minfin financial portal reported this on Thursday.
Thus, over the last 24 hours, the U.S. currency has cheapened by UAH 0.06; Euro, on the contrary, grew up in price. Currently, its exchange rate makes UAH 30.03-30.05.
Russian ruble has cheapened in comparison with June 3; the exchange rate made UAH 0.384.
Earlier, a new coin appeared in the turnover in Ukraine. Its value is ten Ukrainian hryvnyas.
According to the National Bank of Ukraine, the coin is supposed to replace the banknotes of the same value.
The coin's diameter makes 23.5 mm, the weight 6.4 grams. The head side will feature the image of Cossack warlord Ivan Mazepa. The tail side is to display the value of the coin, with the number adorned by the ornament.
In February, the Bank also presented a new banknote by the value of 200 hryvnyas.
As we reported, the expectations of the International Monetary Fund from the Ukrainian government needed to get the new $5 billion credit program were revealed. It should be approved on June 5.
