The number of Covid-19 patients in Ukraine has reached 14,195, Healthcare Ministry reports. Over the last 24 hours, 504 new cases were registered.
As for Friday morning, the number of fatal cases males 361. 2,706 patients recovered.
On May 8, 310 people recovered from the disease, which is a record number since the epidemic reached this country.
The top five in terms of the overall number of cases are Chernivtsi, Ternopil and Ivano-Frankivsk regions (western Ukraine), Kyiv region and Kyiv itself.
The Ukrainian government allowed the work of parks, playgrounds, beauty salons and many other establishments. Denys Shmygal, the Prime Minister of Ukraine said so, specifying that the quarantine measures will be loosened since May 11. These changes, however, will be working only as long as counter-epidemic measures are observed.
The use of underground, suburban and and interregional transport, education establishments, theaters and cinemas, as well as gyms and food courts in shopping malls is still unavailable for Ukrainian citizens. Any movement in groups of more than two people is banned, too; so, mass events are prohibited as well. Citizens must wear protection masks or respirators and carry their IDs with them.
Previously, the Cabinet extended the quarantine until May 22, making a promise that certain restrictions will be lifted on May 11.
