The North Atlantic Treaty Organizations (NATO) provides the equipment in the total cost of 64 000 of Euro to the pyrotechnic departments of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. The press service of the Emergency Service reported this.

‘The ceremony of the handover of the new equipment for the pyrotechnic departments of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine from NATO in the total cost of 64 000 of Euro took place on July 4’, the message reports.

Particularly, the fire workers received the body armor facilities, the modern metal detectors for the search of the explosive objects and the supporting means for holding of the demining activities.

The NATO aid is provided within the project of the support of the holding of the humanitarian demining of explosive objects in Ukraine.

Moreover, it is reported that the scientists of Ukraine and Norway work out the project of the creation of 3-D mine detector. The project is supported by NATO and it aims to work out the unique equipment that can define the location of the explosive subject in any type of ground and depict its image in three dimensions.

The Supreme Allied Commander Europe of NATO Curtis Scaparrotti stands for providing the lethal weaponry to Ukraine.
