As we reported earlier, the new gas transit contract must be concluded in accordance with European rules. It was stated by the executive director of NJSC "Naftogaz-Ukraine" Yuriy Vitrenko on his Facebook page.

"The new transit contract with an operator separated from “Naftogaz” should be concluded in accordance with European rules, and such a contract should be fair and balanced itself," he said.

Vitrenko is convinced that there are no legitimate grounds for a new contract for the transit of gas through Ukraine not to be concluded in accordance with European rules, and “Naftogaz” expresses its willingness to work diligently on this.
