Naftogaz to transfer 90 percent of its income to public budget

The Prime Minister claimed that the earned money to be spent on the needs of Ukrainians but not for excessive bonuses and salaries to the officials

Naftogaz of Ukraine will transfer 90 percent of its income to the state budget of Ukraine. Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman claimed this during the session of the Cabinet of Ministers, 112 Ukraine was broadcasting the event.

‘We decided that 90 percent of the income of Naftogaz will return to the budget, after, the money will be spent on the needs of Ukrainians,’ Groysman claimed.

Volodymyr Groysman considers it fair, since, all these excessive bonuses and salaries should be in the state budget.

Reportedly, the Monitoring Council of Naftogaz decided to pay bonuses of 46.3 million to the personnel, who contributed for the victory in Stockholm Arbitration in the dispute with Gazprom regarding the transit contract.

Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman claimed that this is too much.

Later, the Prosecutor General’s office of Ukraine initiated a criminal proceeding against Naftogaz for paying bonuses.
