In the case of closing up of the reform in the 'Naftogaz' and after the resign of the independent members of the supervisory board the company risks to lose the financing of the World Bank and the European Bank for Reconstruction and development (EBRD). Head of the management of the 'Naftogaz' Andry Kobolev claimed this at the briefing as the correspondent of 112.ua reported.
According to him, the company can lose 300 million dollars from EBRD and 500 million dollars from the World Bank. He noted that this situation is connected with the inability of the government and company to attract the financing in the international institutions at this stage.
Earlier Kobolev reported that resign of the independent members of the supervisory board bears existential threat of the political interfere in the work of the company.
Last independent members of the supervisory board of the 'Naftogaz' Paul Warwick and Marcus Richards decided to resign. They bind their decision with the closing up of the reforms by the government.
Earlier member of the supervisory board of the 'Naftogaz-Ukraine' and independent director Charles Proctor also resigned.
