“On December 26, teams of Naftogaz and Gazprom will met to finally agree the conditions of the treaty. Each side has their draft treaties and we need to sign only one set. Actually, on December 26, we will work on our common variant,” he wrote.
Vitrenko underlined that the common variant does not mean “the provision of complete concessions from our side”. “In no case, we will not allow to compromise the national interests of Ukraine,” he noted.
Besides, the top-manager expressed the hope that it will be able to succeed to the terms of the treaties and finish the whole process on December 27.
“But if there is such necessity, the work will continue on the weekends”, Vitrenko noted.
Earlier Vitrenko stated that all agreements with the Russian Federation on gas transit through the Ukrainian gas transportation system would be signed until December 29, 2019.
