Naftogaz of Ukraine has the opportunity to import gas from various European countries and calculates the option of importing from Romania. Naftogaz CEO Yuriy Vitrenko stated it, as the press service reported.
"We have the opportunity to import gas from various European countries - Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, and we are currently calculating the option of importing from Romania. We have quite diversified imports, so we are confident that we will be able to meet the effective demand of the Ukrainian industry," Vitrenko said.
As it was reported earlier, Naftogaz of Ukraine CEO Yuriy Vitrenko stated that the company will be able to provide a sufficient gas resource for such categories of consumers as the population.
Despite that, on October 19, President Volodymyr Zelensky acknowledged that there is not enough gas in Ukrainian storage facilities, and it is unknown what the situation will be in the energy sector in the future.
