My entire team leaves, - ex-Finance Minister Danylyuk

Oleksandr Danylyuk, a former Ukraine’s Finance Minister, stated that all his team leaves the Finance Ministry. He said it on air of Hromadske on June 8.

He stressed that it is about not only the deputies but also the advisers.

“People who came with me – Yury Betsa, Sergiy Marchenko submitted their resignation. As a team, we are leaving the Finance Ministry. Other advisors, who assisted me, are leaving as well. In particular, Yana Buhrumova, who is actually the strongest candidate,” he said.

“Oksana Markarova stays, but she did not come with me,’ he added.

On June 6, Volodymyr Groysman reported signing the submission for the dismissal of the Finance Minister from his post. Danylyuk claimed that he was pressured and demanded to deliver a speech at the parliament before the voting on his resignation.

On June 7, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the governmental bill on the dismissal of Oleksandr Danylyuk from the post of the Finance Minister of Ukraine.
Volodymyr Groysman, the Prime Miniter of Ukraine, stated that the resignation of the Finance Minister would affect neither the talks nor the continuation or start of reforms at all.
